Registered Nurse (Skilled Nursing Facility – Days/Nights)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes. Nurses work in either day or night shifts while ensuring a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to long-term care and rehabilitation residents.
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy in accordance with physician orders.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
  • Accurately document patient care, progress, and clinical observations.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate residents and families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
  • Supervise and support Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other nursing staff as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations, policies, and quality standards.
  • Foster a compassionate, respectful, and safe environment for residents and team members.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Skilled Nursing Facility, long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $48.11 – $68.59 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
  • Sign-On Bonus: $7,500.
  • Relocation Assistance: $1,500 monthly housing stipend for the first three months for eligible candidates relocating from outside a 35-mile radius.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities (where applicable).
