Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Seeking an energetic NICU RN to come join our team today. We have exciting, Great Paying opportunities in Beautiful Westchester County, NY

Both Local and Travel candidates are welcome to apply.

  • Contract position to start ASAP
  • 13 weeks with option to extend
  • 12 hr shifts; Nights or Days
Registered Nurse - Contract Responsibilities
  • Assess, monitor, administer medication and manage overall care for premature and/or critically ill babies in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients' loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

Registered Nurse - Contract Requirements
  • Passion for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in the NICU, Level III preferred
  • Externship or Capstone in the NICU
  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
  • Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
