Department: Imaging Services

Position Overview: We are seeking a Registered Nurse with an active state of Alaska RN license and experience in trauma, ER, or critical care (at least 1 year) to join our Imaging Center as part of the emergency response team. As a Registered Nurse in Imaging Services, you will provide professional nursing care to our patients following established standards and practices.

Essential Functions:

Provide general nursing care to patients in Imaging Center
Screen patients for appropriate pre-test information
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
Ensure priority is given to patients in emergency situations
Maintain patient confidentiality
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Education Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.

Experience Minimum:

1 year experience in critical care nursing/emergency nursing OR
1 year experience in cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and/or electrophysiology.

Certificate/License:

Possession of a current Alaska State Registered Nurse license
Current CPR certification
Current ACLS certification
