Seeking a full time Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse, RN to join our team!
This is a full time night shift position.

Progressive Care Unit
The PCU is a 44-bed unit providing care for complex patients. The patient population consists primarily of surgical cardiac/cardiovascular based patients post procedures including but not limited to TAVRS and MitraClip. Fifty-five to sixty-five open hearts performed at the HHA per month. The PCU receives patients within 24 to 48 hours post open heart. The highly skilled staff participates in bedside procedures such thoracentesis, TEE, Cardioversions and pulling sheaths. Research studies conducted on the Heart Hospital PCU patient population due to the complexity of the case mix index, high HCAP scores and quality outcomes in conjunction with low re-admit rates.
Experience Required:
Minimum of one-year adult, acute care with cardiology/cardiovascular nursing
Education Required:
RN Licensure from an accredited school of nursing
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse with current state licensure from the State of Texas
RN licensure from state with the Nursing Compact – required to get a Texas license within 90 days of hire

TNCC Certification
