Job Details:
Provides nursing case management and delegating RN services to a caseload of individual’s with autism and related disabilities, in our school and residential program. The Delegating Registered Nurse provides services that include:- assessing individuals’ health needs
- developing care plans
- visiting homes and supervising direct support professionals in implementing delegated nursing tasks and medication administration.
- Serves as liaison with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and family members.
- Maintains appropriated nursing documentation including 45 day reviews.
- Provides staff training.
- Participates as an integral member of each individual’s support team.
- Must be available for on-call responsibilities, with flexibility with day/evening hours
Requirements:
Two (2) years’ experience working in human services and with individuals with developmental disabilities
Case Management or Utilization Review Certification - Highly Preferred
DDA-Delegating Nurse experience preferred or must be willing to complete the MBON mandated DDA RN Case Manager/Delegating Nurse/MTTP Trainer Course within 3 months of hire
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record-local travel required
