Our healthcare facility located in beautiful Palm Springs, CA is seeking a Manager for the Case Management department! We are a magnet status facility that focuses on teamwork and quality of life.
The Manager will manage all the other case managers, Discharge Planning Associate, Administrative support personnel.The schedule is full-time M-F No Weekends
Position overview: The position is responsible and accountable for the operations of the Case Management Department. The manager is responsible for ensuring that utilization of resources including medical services, length of stay and appropriate status class. The manager will help promote and facilitate patient within the facility and through the continuum of care. The manager will develop and oversee compliance by implementing standardized processes and procedures. The goal of the department is to provide Coordinated Care Management services to all patients’ utilizing a cost-effective process that meets the needs of the individual patient.
Requirements: BSN and MSN or other Masters Program, Case Management Certification, Previous Managerial experience managing another group of hospital inpatient case managers
Experience: Five years Case Management experience AND several years of managing a hospital case management dept
