Job Description
Dillingham, Alaska is located on Nushagak Bay, an inlet of Bristol Bay on the eastern-most arm of the Bearing Sea and is only accessible by boat or plane. Surrounded by remote wilderness sitting on the edge of Wood-Tikchik State Park, home to some of the best sport fishing in Alaska, with solitary lakes, quiet rivers and unparalleled wildlife viewing. Dillingham was once known as the Pacific Salmon capitol of the world and is truly an angler’s paradise.
The Registered Nurse will work within the Clinical Decision Unit. The CDU provides an alternative to discharge or hospital inpatient admission for emergency department patients that may benefit from an extended observation period. The RN is responsible for independently planning, coordinating and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for patients. Housing is available.
Requirements:
• Current Alaska License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
Shift:
• Days – 12 hour shifts
