Position Overview
We are actively recruiting an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract at Kuakini Health System in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a premier opportunity for a skilled cardiac nurse to bring expertise to a respected acute care facility while enjoying one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the country.
An active Hawaii RN license is required prior to the contract start date. Candidates currently holding an active Hawaii license are strongly encouraged to apply immediately.
Position Details
- Location: Honolulu, HI 96817
- Facility: Kuakini Health System
- Facility Type: Acute Care | Bed Size: 150–500 | Trauma Level III
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-Hour Day Shift
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks after offer release
- EMR System: Cerner
- Holiday Coverage: Required
Compensation
- Hourly Pay Range: $90.00 – $95.00 per hour, All-Inclusive
- Holiday pay applicable when shift begins on the holiday
- All-inclusive rate covers housing, meals, and incidentals
Minimum Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN License (must be active at time of start — no exceptions)
- Minimum 5 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Strong cardiac catheterization lab clinical competency
- BLS and ACLS required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Ability to provide holiday coverage as needed
Preferred Certifications
ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, CRN, CPI, NRP, ENP, CCRN, FATN
