(Archived) Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL)

12/16, 12/30 or 1/13 start **if 12/30 start, RN will orient during the day on 12/31, and not work on 1/1** Shift - 1100-1930 • 2 yrs Cath Lab exp required • First time traveler OK • Patient Population: Adult and geratric patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheization. Pts with history of congestive heart failure, valve repairs, post coronary artery bypass grafts. Inpt and outpt procedures • Call is required – every third weekend: 48 hrs – a team of 3-4 will be on call during this time • RN may float throughout hospital as delegated by house sup, pre/post cath unit as well • Certs needed – ACLS, BLS • Skills needed – vents, IV start, circulate, Tele, conscious sedation
