RN Med Surg (Charge) – Choice of Days or Nights – $15K Bonus + Certification Pay

Shift: Full-time, choice between days or nights (rotating weekends)
Unit: 46-bed Med/Surg + Overflow Post-Surgical
Patient Mix: Medical admissions, some telemetry, oncology, and surgical overflow
Ratio: 1:6
Charge Experience: Required
On Call: None

Your Role

• Lead day-to-day operations and clinical coordination on a busy Med Surg floor

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately

• Administer medications and respond to changes in patient status

• Support and mentor nursing staff as the Charge Nurse on shift

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes

• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education on conditions and treatments

• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and organizational policies
