Licensed Vocational Nurse / LVN in Rural California!
Position Overview
Join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at our Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will provide technical nursing care to Residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) and may also serve as a charge nurse.
Compensation Package
Compensation details:
- Salary scale with 30 pay increments reflecting 30 years of relevant experience.
- Compensation range: $29.16 - $41.57 per hour
- Sign-on Bonus: $5,000.00
Job Status and Shift Information
- Full-Time position with comprehensive benefits
- 3, 12-hour shifts
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as an LVN
- Hold a current California LVN license
- Completion of an accredited LVN program with an associate's degree or equivalent
- Current CPR Certification
Key Skills:
- Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in computer usage
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise shift duties
- Participate in resident care planning and evaluation
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Maintain accurate narcotic records
- Review medication orders and documentation
