Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Services RN Manager to join a dedicated healthcare team outside of Roanoke, Virginia!
Full-Time | Permanent | Day & Evening Shift Opportunities
Requirements
-
Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
-
Active Virginia RN license or eligible compact RN license
-
Emergency Department leadership or management experience required
-
Current BLS certification
-
TNCC certification
-
ACLS and PALS required within one year of employment
-
Strong leadership, staffing, and clinical decision-making skills
Responsibilities & Highlights
-
Oversee daily Emergency Department operations and patient care
-
Manage nursing and support staff, including RNs, LPNs, and PCTs
-
Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development
-
Maintain clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and staff competencies
-
Collaborate with the Emergency Department Director to ensure quality patient care
-
Opportunities available in a main Emergency Department and a freestanding Emergency Department
-
Participate in rotating on-call coverage as assigned
-
