Overview:
***This client is looking for nurses with a minimum of 1 year of recent, acute experience in a hospital setting (recent = within the past 1-2 years). They prefer the candidate to have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty they are applying for, but will consider any RN that meets the acute experience qualifications. They will also consider them for multiple units, so every RN submitted has a greater chance of getting an interview.***
We are seeking dedicated, talented nurses to join our Medical Floor unit with Renal Sub-Specialty. Patients range from young adult to geriatric. Diagnostic related illnesses that are treated on the unit include acute and chronic renal failure, cellulitis, pancreatitis and diabetes. Patients receive medical and surgical intervention, as well as CAPD and hemodialysis. Nurses on this unit work closely with interdisciplinary team members to provide effective and holistic care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

1. RN Licensure with state of Virginia
2. BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR
3. 1 year of Med/Surg or relevant experience required in an acute/hospital setting
4. Emphasis on care of the patient with aleration in renal function preferred
