This is a medical/surgery facility that provides award winning inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, medical, surgical, cardiovascular and cancer services to the Miami-Dade and Broward counties. They have a 24-hour ER, over 50 specialties and over 1,300 employees total.
Reporting to the Vice President of Quality Management, the Director Patient Safety and Risk (DPS) is responsible for facilitating the transition from a retrospective, reactive model for risk management to a prospective, proactive loss prevention, harm reducing patient safety program.
Candidates must have their BSN (MSN preferred), CPHRN, CPPS, 5+ years healthcare experience with a focus in nursing leadership, and 3+ years in Risk Management and Quality in an acute care setting.
