Seeking a Full-Time Director of Infusion Services!

Details:

This position will direct, coordinate, and evaluate the outpatient clinical operations and treatment center and will be responsible for the operational management of ambulatory clinics and related programs. Will oversee clinical and ancillary staff, ensuring the smooth flow of quality patient care from the time of patient scheduling to patient checkout. The Director will work collaborative at the facility and utilize leadership and management skills to support the mission, vision and strategy. The position will ensure that all clinical, academic, and faculty support activities comply with budgetary, hospital, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

The Director will work with nursing leadership and others to provide overall administrative direction and leaderships. Responsible for planning, organization, and administration of nursing services to include staffing, training, and development communications.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing Required
  • Current FL RN License
  • Skilled in strategic and tactical planning
  • Skilled in all phases of budgeting
  • Clinical experience with oncology patient mix including bone marrow/stem cell transplantation and hematology oncology
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills

The center provides blood and platelet transfusions, blood draws, hydration therapy, intravenous antibiotic infusions, injections, pharmaceutical services and pump disconnections, as well as traditional intravenous chemotherpy infusions. They are known as a top destination for comprehensive cancer treatment, no matter the diagnosis. Because of the broad patient base, the oncologists are accustomed to treating rare conditions that many other facilities are not familiar with.
