Director of the Operating Room needed to join a fantastic team in VA
The position is with a 100-bed community hospital in western VA, right in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a very safe and friendly community as well as beautiful with the mountains, rivers, lakes and streams. It's a great place to live for all ages as it promotes a work-life balance as well as is close enough to larger cities without being in the center of activity.
Candidates for this role must have their BSN, BLS, ACLS and 5+ years experience in the operating room (at least 2+ in a leadership capacity). Must have experience overseeing at least 10 FTEs, scheduling, budgeting and training new employees.
