Job Description
MedFirst Staffing, a Joint Commission certified provider of healthcare staffing services, is actively recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) for 13-week contract assignments at adult correctional facility located throughout Alabama. Immediate openings in Atmore and Wetumpka. Minium estimated weekly pay of $2,000 for RNs Full time, 8- and 12-hour shifts depending on the facility. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description:
- Provide professional nursing care to inmates
- Conduct patient assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
- Provide patient care and education through case management
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
- Current Alabama or multistate nurse license in good standing
- Current CPR (American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred)
- Clean background check
- Current PPD
- Negative drug screen
- Ability to complete the credentialing process in a timely manner
- 1 year of Correctional nursing experience required
