Job Description
MedFirst Staffing, a Joint Commission certified provider of healthcare staffing services, is actively recruiting outstanding Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), like you, for contracts at adult correctional facilities in Georgia. Guaranteed 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shift (7a-7p) and night shift (7p-7a) contracts available. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Estimated weekly pay of up to $1,680 for RNs and $1,440 for LPNs. In addition, MedFirst offers a wide range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, and a 401k plan.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description:
- Provide professional nursing care and treatment to inmates
- Conduct needs assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
- Provide patient care and education through case management
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description:
- Provide treatment and direct care to inmates
- Administer medications
- Maintain patient records
Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Requirements:
- Current Georgia or multistate nurse license in good standing
- Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred)
- Clean background check
- Current PPD
- Negative drug screen
- Ability to complete the credentialing process in a timely manner
- Must have at least one year of correctional nursing experience
