Correctional Nurse

Location: Mount Pleasant, IA Fort Dodge, IA or Coralville, IA

Duration: 3-month with possibility for extension or conversion

(2) LPN or RN - @ 1200 East Washington Street., Mount Pleasant, IA 52641

• 40 hours/week, possibly working every other weekend
• 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm

• • Registered Nurse $50-56/hr
  • Licensed Practice Nurse $28-33/hr

(4) 2 RNs, 2 LPNs - @ 2700 Coral Ridge Ave., Coralville, IA 52241

• 40 hours/week, working every other weekend
• 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 2pm-10pm
  • Registered Nurse $40-45/hr
  • Licensed Practice Nurse $35-39/hr

(3) RN - @ 1550 L Street, Fort Dodge, IA 50501

• 40 hours/week with assigned days off

• 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 2pm-10pm
  • Registered Nurse $37-40/hr

Day to Day:

A State ran facility is seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Clinical Staff (RN or LPN) to support its correctional healthcare teams across multiple facilities. Staff will work second shift and be responsible for delivering essential nursing care to incarcerated individuals. Duties include conducting nursing assessments, monitoring vitals, administering medications, assisting on-site medical providers, and documenting care in the electronic medical records system. These roles are ideal for empathetic, detail-oriented nurses with strong communication skills who are comfortable working in a secure, structured environment. Candidates with active Iowa or multi-state licensure and the ability to commute to Fort Dodge, Coralville, or Coralville, IA will be considered!

Must Haves:

• Current/ Unencumbered Iowa or Multi-state license
• Valid driver's license
• Photo of Nursing Diploma
