Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to help serve in their corrections facility near the Newark, New Jersey area.
This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional facility, you will provide direct care to inmates, assess health needs, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective treatment and outcomes. You'll care for a diverse range of health conditions, from minor ailments to major issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform health assessments in various facility settings
Administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with healthcare providers for coordinated care
Promote safety and adhere to infection control and safety procedures
Document care accurately and timely
Provide patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Current, unrestricted RN license in NJ
At least 1 year of RN experience (correctional setting preferred)
Position Overview:
Shift: 3 pm - 11 pm (8-hour shifts)
Location: Newark, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50-$56/hr, flexible based on experience
