Job Description
ICU RN
Location: Suburban Community Hospital - 2701 Dekalb Pike, Norristown, PA 19401
Shift: 12 hr shifts/per week
Timings: 19:00PM -07:30 AM
Float RN is able to float to any unit (stepdown, Tele, ICU, ED) and take assignments during shift.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients; He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal results symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Local Pay
Total Gross for 13 weeks = $3,204 x 13 weeks = $41,652
Regular pay for 36 hours = 36 x $89 = $3,204
Travel allowance for 36 hours (40 hours max)= 36 x $0 = $
Total weekly pay for 36 hours = $3,204
Travel Pay
Total Gross for 13 weeks = $3,780 x 13 weeks = $49,140
Regular pay for 36 hours = 36 x $65 = $2,340
Travel allowance for 36 hours (40 hours max)= 36 x $40 = $1,440
