Job Description

NEW Permanent RN CICU opening near Clinton, WI!

**Skills and Responsibilities:**

- Interpretation of 12 Lead EKG.
- Hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters, central venous pressure (CVP) monitoring, and arterial lines.
- Collection of lab specimens from central lines.
- Titration of critical care unit (CCU) related IV drips such as Neosynephrine, Dopamine, Levophed, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Propofol, and Versed.
- Management of chest tubes.
- Temporary pacemaker insertion and management.
- Cardioversion procedures.
- Rapid response to medical emergencies and Code Blue situations.
- Care for patients undergoing angioplasty or with stents.
- Management of ventilated patients.
- Critical care management of surgical patients.
- Management of septic patients.
- Treatment of overdose patients.
- Sheath management and removal.
- Ventilator management.
- Management of continuous cardiac output.
- Management of transvenous pacemakers.
- Management of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella devices.
- Management of patients on the first day post-op coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
- Familiarity with STEMI/NSTEMI guidelines.

**Required Certifications:**
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
