Job Description

Position Name: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Available Shifts:

  • Days (Rotating Weekends)

  • Nights (Rotating Weekends): URGENT NEED

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Cardiovascular ICU RN to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide care to some of the most critically ill patients, including those on ventilators and various drips. As part of a close-knit team, you will support one another while delivering the highest standard of care in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Patient Advocacy: Serve as the advocate for your patients and their families, ensuring their privacy and confidentiality are protected.

  • Instruction and Education: Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and what to expect during recovery.

  • High-Focus Care: Provide critical care with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of patient care.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of recent acute care ICU RN experience. We are also open to candidates with 2+ years of PCU RN experience.

  • Licensing: Active Florida RN license or multistate RN license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.

  • Education: Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.

  • Certifications:

    • BLS within 30 days of hire

    • ACLS within 90 days of hire

  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills to effectively manage the care of patients in a high-intensity environment.
