Role Overview

As Nursing Director for the NICU, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure high-quality, safe, and compassionate nursing care. This role involves coordinating staffing, evaluating nursing practices, managing resources, and fostering staff competency across the neonatal unit. You will work closely with executive leadership to align nursing services with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support NICU nursing staff in delivering exceptional care and maintaining clinical excellence

  • Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and hospital leadership to assess, plan, and implement nursing policies and procedures

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and resource management within the NICU

  • Serve as a role model and advocate for nursing practice and patient care standards
