ICU RN/Registered Nurse (Up To $15k Sign On Bonus)

NEW Permanent ICU RN – Full Time, Nights (Rotating Weekends) Destin, Florida Area

A top-performing acute care hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join a collaborative and high-acuity critical care team. This is a night shift opportunity in a newly built ICU with strong leadership presence, excellent resources, and a supportive team culture.

About the Unit

• 10-bed Medical/Surgical ICU

• Private rooms with continuous telemetry monitoring

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2–3 (days and nights)

• Typical census: 8–10 patients

• Patient population includes vented patients, vasoactive drips, cardiac, pulmonary, metabolic cases, and low-acuity trauma

• Average length of stay: 3–4 days

• Strong teamwork, access to supplies/equipment, and hands-on leadership

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care

• Perform frequent assessments and manage complex patient conditions autonomously

• Serve as a patient and family advocate

• Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements

• 1 year recent (within last 3 years) ICU, ER, or CVICU experience

  • PCU/IMCU experience considered with 2+ years

• Active RN license (multistate accepted with ability to obtain state license after hire)

• BLS required

• ACLS required within 6 months

• Associate Degree in Nursing required

• BSN and CCRN preferred
