Job Details
The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in EMR systems.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on care processes, post-treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Advocate for patient rights and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted RN license in Gorgia (or Compact license).
Special Care Nursery
Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
Required BLS. NRP
The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing care to neonates with medical and/or surgical problems.
ReCam- Opthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds and isolettes.
