Job Description

A well-established regional hospital is currently in search of a proficient ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join its esteemed critical care team. As an integral part of the team, you will deliver top-notch bedside care to high-acuity patients while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for critically ill individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of critically ill patients and monitor any changes in their condition.
  • Develop and execute personalized care plans in coordination with physicians, patients, and their families.
  • Administer direct ICU bedside care following physician directives and nursing protocols.
  • Monitor diagnostics, laboratory results, and vital signs, promptly reporting any deviations from the norm.
  • Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Precisely document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment strategies and recovery projections.
  • Support quality enhancement endeavors and assist in mentoring or training new staff members when required.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or a compact license.
  • Mandatory possession of BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Prior experience in ICU bedside nursing.
