Job Description

A respected regional hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join its critical care team. In this role, you will provide high-acuity bedside care while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients and monitor changes in condition.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families.
  • Deliver direct ICU bedside care in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
  • Monitor diagnostics, labs, and vital signs, reporting abnormal findings promptly.
  • Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery expectations.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with mentoring or training new staff when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in AZ or compact license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • ICU bedside nursing experience.
