Contract Length: 8 - 13 Weeks (Standard)

Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed (Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Unit Size: 42 beds (East: 20, West: 22)

Patient Population: High-acuity adults across specialized pods, including:

• Neuro/Med (22 beds): Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI.

• CTICU (6 beds): CV Surgery, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA.

• Surg/Trauma (14 beds): Level trauma and major post-operative surgical cases.

EMR: EPIC

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level critical care nursing for complex ICU patients, prioritizing candidates with Open Heart/CV experience.

• Specialty Equipment Management: Demonstrate proficiency with CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage), IABP, Ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun).

• Maintain rigorous clinical documentation and medication titration within the EPIC EMR system.

• Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to all units within the facility as needed, excluding Behavioral Health and ER (unless holding ICU patients).

• Attire: Navy Blue scrubs.

Submission Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide a complete submission profile including:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU. Documented travel experience is required. * Note: Charge Nurse experience is highly preferred.

• Licensure: Active NY RN License plus NURSYS verification for all currently held licenses.

• Certifications: Current AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, and NIHSS.

• Documentation: * Up-to-date Resume.
