About the Role
We are seeking an ICU RN for a permanent position in a mid-sized acute care hospital. Openings on days or nights (rotating weekends).
This role is ideal for nurses comfortable with high-acuity patients and critical care environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to critically ill patients
- Perform ongoing assessments and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications, including vasoactive drips
- Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation
About the Facility
- 250+ bed acute care hospital with advanced services including cardiac, stroke, oncology, and emergency care.
- ICU is a 10-bed, private room unit with continuous monitoring.
- Typical ratios: 1:2–3
- Patient population includes medical/surgical ICU, vented patients, cardiac, pulmonary, and low-acuity trauma cases.
- Strong team environment with hands-on leadership and newer unit setup.
