Job Description

Nursing Director of Telemetry- Pulmonary. This is an exciting opportunity with a great health system in the beautiful Palm Beach area of Florida!
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Director Telemetry - Pulmonary
Job Description:

Reporting to the CNO, this individual directs and manages the operations and activities of the 40+ bed Telemetry Pulmonary Stepdown unit.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee successful daily department operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction goals/objectives
  • Supervise staff including performance and departmental accomplishments to meet facility and regulatory requirements
  • Promote teamwork with physicians and all health care providers
  • Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employees to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Manage unit supplies and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize costs

Qualifications:

  • BSN Required, Master's Preferred
  • Current State of Florida RN Licensure
  • BCLS, ACLS certifications
  • Must have 5+ years progressive managerial experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Must have Telemetry experience, Pulmonary/Ventilator experience strongly preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years progressive leadership experience in similar sized critical care department
