Job Description

Medical Search International (MSI) is a premier search firm for the health care industry that specializes in temporary or "Locum Tenens" staffing and permanent placement of physicians and other healthcare professionals. MSI is currently recruiting for multiple ICU RNs at a Hospital in Bronx, NY.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Efficient in managing patient with EVD, multiple medication drips, use of Hemosphere Flotrac
Efficient in managing trauma patient of different severities
Perform assessment using CAM, CPOT, and RASS
Efficient in the care of patient with hypothermia treatment
Familiar with the care pleurevac chest tube drainage
Familiar with the use of Allscript EMR
Must observe strict isolation precaution, hand washing, gel in and gel out
Must follow the SOP and critical care practice of the Hospital
Familiar with the use of PCA pump

Qualifications

BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school.
RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
3 years of RN experience
One year or more ICU experience is a plus
ACLS, BCLS, PALS, CCRN, or TNCC certifications

Location: Bronx, NY

Schedule: 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week; hours 7AM-7:30PM or 7PM-7:30AM

Length of Assignment: 1-2 months, that is just an estimate and the duration may be longer and possible to become permanent
