Duties:

• Access to PHI: The protected health information this position can access is all medical record information. This position requires this patient health information in order to perform the functions outlined as part of this position description. Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing and walking with ability to lift and move patients. 50 lb weight lift requirement.
• Has responsibility to treat or care for patients.
• Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Possible exposure to: Blood or body fluids
• Possible exposure to: Communicable diseases
• Possible exposure to: Contrast media
• Possible exposure to: High ionized radiation
• Possible exposure to: High pitched noises

Skills:

Current ACLS - Required
Current BLS - Required
Minimum 2 years acute care experience required - Required: 2 Years
NIHSS - Required
Previous experience as an RN in an acute care hospital - Highly desired
Registered Nurse licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing - Required
Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever changing environment. Requires excellent critical thinking, communication skills, relationship skills, and clinical / technical expertise in area of specialty.
