Job Description
Currently working with a hospital in Weirton, WV to assist with coverage for an RN position in the ER with a start date of 02/3/2023 . Please find additional details regarding the opportunity below.
Job Description:
- 13 Weeks
- Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12hrs)
- On-Call NONE
- Weekends YES
- EMR: Sorian
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs (Traveler provided)
- The unit is one with very low traveler to FTE ratio. Travel RN best suited to the assignment has a high degree of professionalism and holds themselves to, among other things, the following requirements: professional appearance, punctuality, computer skills, and the ability to keep pace.
- Sorian is the EMR system currently in use. Candidate should have prior experience with an EMR system and feel proficient in usage of computers.
- Additionally, the candidate must exhibit a compassionate attitude toward patients and their families. This is a community hospital where patients are at times known to the hospital staff.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of ED experience (no new grads)
- Travel experience - Preferred
- TNCC - Preferred
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH
- BLS (AHA)
License:
- West Virginia**Compact License Allowed
