Position Overview

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for delivering rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. This role plays a critical part in the emergency department by performing patient triage, assessing conditions, and prioritizing care to ensure timely and effective treatment.

Working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, the ER RN assists with emergency procedures, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient status, and responds quickly to changing clinical conditions. The Emergency Room Registered Nurse helps maintain a safe and efficient emergency department environment while providing compassionate care to patients and clear communication with families during urgent and often stressful situations.
