Shift: 3 x 12-hour Mid/Evening Shifts (9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission.
- Obtain medical histories and evaluate current patient conditions.
- Monitor and document vital signs, laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical findings.
- Identify changes in patient status and communicate appropriately.
Patient Care & Treatment
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with emergency nursing standards and protocols.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Patient Safety
- Adhere to patient safety guidelines and nursing best practices.
- Identify and respond to patient emergencies promptly.
- Support infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives.
Team Collaboration
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect toward patients, families, and colleagues.
- Accept feedback constructively and contribute positively to unit operations.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current active New Hampshire RN License or eligibility to obtain one.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
- Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Ability to work holidays as required.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Emergency Nursing Certification or specialty certification.
- Membership in a professional nursing organization.

Additional Information
- Local candidates accepted; local rates may differ.
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
- Maximum submissions per job: 3.
Local Candidates Accepted - Will Receive A $10/hr Lower Local Rate
