Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) - Nights

Contract Position | 13 Weeks | Quick Start

NIKTOR LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for an ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a night-shift travel/contract opportunity.

Position Details

• Shift Hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Length: 12 Hours
• Hours Per Week: 36 Hours
• Start Date: ASAP / Quick Start
• Contract Type: Travel/Contract
• EMR System: Meditech (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department.
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute and emergency conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Accurately document patient care and clinical activities.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
• Participate in holiday coverage and scheduled departmental requirements.

Requirements

• Active Washington State RN License or valid Multistate RN License
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Completion of approved 6-Hour Suicide Prevention Training
• Demographic verification through Nursys
• Current certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
• Strong clinical judgment and emergency care skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Meditech EMR
• Travel nursing experience
• Flexibility to pick up additional shifts as needed

Additional Notes

• Requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and may be added to the end of the assignment.
• Full scheduling availability is preferred throughout the contract duration.
