Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
- Employment Type: Contract
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Start: Quick Start Available
- Number of Openings: 1
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the designated EMR system.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted RN License.
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience.
- Current certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity emergency setting.
- Holiday coverage may be required.
Clinical Environment
- Emergency Department setting.
- EMR: CPSI/Evident.
- Physician coverage available 24/7.
