Position Title: Emergency Room Director – San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Full time – Days

- 242-Bed Facility
- 9 Operating suites
- 4 Additional ORs added in April 2019
- 4-Star CMS rating - Overall quality & patient safety measures
- 3-Star STS rating - Medication excellence with our cardio vascular patients
- Position Under the direction of the CNO, the ER Director is responsible for all ED operations and understands the business side of ER. Need someone who can lead the ER while is transitions into a Level III trauma facility. This ER has 28 beds and can see anywhere from 85-110 patients a day. This unit currently has 50 FTEs
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- Minimum Work Experience
- Must have ED Director Experience
- MUST HAVE ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE IN A HOSPITAL
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- A current and valid Texas RN license or Compact Eligible
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Self-directed and able to work under pressure and constant change.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with medical staff, hospital personnel, patients, and their families
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze feasible solutions, and choose a course of action
Salary:
- Salary based on years of experience $110 - 112K with a target 15% bonus potential
- Sign on: Case by case basis
- Relocation: Case by case basis
