Job Description
Known as The Jewel of Northern New Mexico, Espanola was founded in 1880 as a railroad village and incorporated as a city in 1925. The city is in an area that was declared a capital for Spain by Don Juan de Onate in 1598. Consequently, Espanola is said to be the oldest capital in the United States. Nestled between the Jeme and Sange de Cristos Mountains in the Northern Rio Grande Valley. Extending along both the east and west banks of the Rio Grande. Espanola and its surrounding country is full of beautiful, high mountain country valleys, trails and picturesque lakes, which make it perfect for hiking, camping, fishing, and both water and snow skiing. From the numerous, year-round outdoor activities to the historical sites in and around Espanola, there are endless opportunities for excitement and exploration.
Looking for a compassionate RN with good critical thinking, communication and organizational skills. RN will be responsible for handling initial patient assessments, performing laboratory work and point of care testing. ER RN will collaborate with Physicians on discharge plans and create outpatient instructions for patients that are not admitted to the hospital. Prior traveling experience preferred.
Requirements
• Current NM or Compact State License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• PALS
• 2 years of travel experience
Shift
• Days and Nights available – 12 hour shifts
