Job Description
Client seeks Certified Medical Assistant for contract position starting ASAP-September 26 at their Corporate Health clinic in Indianapolis, IN. Clinic sees ages 18 and up for Primary Care, acute episodic care, physicals, and wellness visits. MA will work both front and back office so duties will include greeting and rooming patients, checking them in and out, collecting copays, taking vitals, handling patient testing, giving injections and immunizations, drawing blood, answering phones, assisting the provider, scanning and filing paperwork, and other duties as assigned. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Tuesday 7:30am-4:30pm, all with a 60-minute lunch break, and Friday 7:30am-12:00pm. Provider must have great Phlebotomy and customer service skills and at least 1 year of clinical experience, preferable in an outpatient clinic environment, to qualify for this assignment. COVID vaccination is also required for this assignment. Client will also consider an LPN or RN as long as they are willing to work in the front/back office MA role.
