The Pittsburgh VA Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while serving our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage IV therapies, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions during imaging procedures.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, addressing any concerns and ensuring informed consent.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with VA policies.
- Work effectively with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions as required.

Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proven experience in critical care or procedural nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
