NEW Assistant Professor – Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Opening

A well-respected private college in the Northeast is seeking an experienced nursing educator to join its Graduate Nursing Program as an Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty opportunity for a candidate passionate about graduate nursing education, student mentorship, scholarship, and curriculum development. This is an onsite role.

The selected candidate will teach DNP-level courses, advise graduate nursing students, support accreditation efforts, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the nursing program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach graduate nursing coursework across fall and spring semesters
  • Advise and mentor graduate nursing students
  • Participate in accreditation and program assessment activities
  • Support curriculum development and course implementation
  • Engage in scholarship, research, publishing, and professional development
  • Serve on department, school, and college committees
  • Maintain regular office hours and student support availability

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Nursing or related field required
  • RN licensure in Massachusetts required or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Graduate degree in nursing required
  • 3–5 years of nursing experience in a related specialty area
  • Prior teaching experience in a nursing program preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and student engagement skills
