URGENT NEED – INTERIM DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) | Beltrami County, MN

We’re seeking a hands-on, results-driven RN leader with strong operational experience in long-term care who can step in quickly, lead with confidence, and stabilize clinical operations. Experience with a cottage model is highly preferred.

About the Position

• Title: Interim Director of Nursing (DON)
• Location: Near Beltrami County, MN
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (flexibility required based on facility needs)
• Compensation: Earn up to $124,800 annually + full benefits & weekly pay
• Start: ASAP – urgent coverage needed
• Important Note: May need to work for as needed to cover shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing staff and daily operations
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
• Lead staff development, scheduling, and performance management
• Oversee care planning, quality measures, and survey readiness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Support and implement infection control and quality improvement initiatives
• Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high-quality care delivery

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or strong ADONready to step up
• Long-term care (LTC) experience required
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to start quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
