Job Description

MedFirst Staffing, a Joint Commission certified provider of healthcare staffing services, is recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) for an Oncology/Hematology practice located in Rock Hill, SC. Registered Nurse (RN) Job Details:

  • Full-time
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday through Thursday 8:30a-5:00p / Fridays 8:30a-3:00p
  • No weekends, evenings, or holidays
  • On-the-job training offered.
  • Immediate start
  • Possible temp-to-perm

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • South Carolina RN License or Compact RN License

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement identified treatment plan and coordinate all aspects of care delivery.
  • Obtain vitals, access ports, provide chemotherapy and immuno-therapies to patients in the infusion center located within the office.
  • Mix chemotherapeutic agents as needed.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and family members regarding identified health needs, health care activities, immunization requirements, medication effects and contraindications.
  • Meet specific clinical needs of oncology and infusion patients by using knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognize medication mid solution incompatibilities and factors affecting stability.
  • Ensure that all pertinent clinical information is documented in the patient's medical record and supports the level of service selected.
