Overview:
Our well-established home health agency is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide private duty care for a patient in their home in Clinton Township. This role offers a predictable weekend schedule in a patient-focused environment. You will deliver one-on-one nursing care while supporting comfort, safety, and independence.

Position Offers:

Schedule: Every weekend or every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Part-time position
Competitive pay: $30–35/hour (DOE)
Predictable weekend daytime hours
One-on-one private duty care setting

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to a private duty patient in their home
Monitor vital signs regularly and report changes to the care team
Administer medications safely according to the plan of care
Maintain catheter care and other clinical tasks per the plan of care
Document care, observations, and interventions in the EHR
Educate the patient and family on care needs and treatment plans
Assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Provide transportation and companionship to appointments and activities

Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Home health or private duty experience preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Current BLS/CPR certification
Comfortable working in a home environment with household pets
