Overview:
Our home health agency in Sharon Woods is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home nursing care, largely for patients with toxicity-related illnesses such as cancer. New grads and experienced nurses alike are encouraged to apply for this role supporting patients through comprehensive, person-centered care.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: 9:00 AM–11:00 PM, varies depending on assigned patient
• Competitive pay: $42–56 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in the home setting, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental evaluations, largely for patients with toxicity-related illnesses (e.g., cancer)
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications safely and accurately, including oral, injectable, and IV therapies, following physician orders and agency protocols
• Provide wound care management, including assessment, dressing changes, infection prevention, and monitoring of healing progress
• Document all patient encounters, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR in a timely and accurate manner
• Educate patients and family members on disease processes, medications, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to promote independence
• Coordinate services with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and continuous care
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions or escalations to prevent complications

Qualifications:

• Active, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Ohio
• In-home/home health experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
