Job Title: Director of Nursing (Hospice)
Location: Skokie, IL (serving Cook, DuPage, and Lake Counties)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
Lead clinical services for a newly established hospice agency, guiding care delivery across a multi-county region. This role offers the opportunity to influence care standards, support a growing team, and ensure compassionate service for patients and families.

Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

Direct day-to-day hospice clinical operations across the service area
Guide interdisciplinary collaboration to support individualized care plans
Establish and maintain clinical policies aligned with regulatory standards
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency
Review patient cases and provide clinical guidance when needed
Track outcomes and implement improvements to enhance care delivery
Partner with leadership on operational planning and program development

Qualifications:

Active Illinois RN license or eligibility prior to start
Experience in a DON or ADON role within hospice or post-acute care
Strong knowledge of end-of-life care practices
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical teams
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
BSN required; advanced degree or certification preferred
