Essential Functions: The Peer Review Coordinator is a system position that works under the direction of the Director Quality/Infection Prevention and is responsible for managing, collecting, reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing quality data as it relates to physician practice / evidence-based medicine. Also accountable for the activities of monitoring and reporting of medical staff quality data for the System. Attends medical staff meetings and provides pertinent reports as indicated. The Coordinator will interface directly with physicians for performance improvement, with the Medical Staff Office for quality monitoring of physicians, and is responsible for managing a comprehensive peer review process as defined in medical staff policy. Works closely with the Medical Staff Office (MSO) regarding credentialing and other related medical staff functions. Also accountable for coordinating Ongoing Professional Practice/Focused Professional Practice (OPPE/FPPE) evaluations for physicians with the MSO.

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Data Analytics
  • Professional management experience
  • Independent, self-starter, organized, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Florida Registered Nurse License (RN Preferred)
