Job Description

Job Overview – Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN):
Our client is seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) for their Fresno, CA facility. The Labor & Delivery Nurse will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Compensation: $50/hour
Location: Fresno, CA
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities as the Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN):

  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
  • Monitoring: Conduct fetal and maternal monitoring using EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe deliveries.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
Qualifications for the Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN):
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery Nursing.
  • Certifications: ACLS, EFM, BLS, and NRP.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery procedures, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
